Your privacy, at home.

Your home photos are personal. This explains what the current service collects, how it uses that information, and your controls.

What we collect

We store photos you choose to upload, generated designs, written design directions, saved project reports, an email and hashed password when you create an account, credit and payment records, sharing choices and support messages. Browser cookies keep your session signed in. A salted hash of your network address helps limit repeated free trials; it can affect people sharing a connection.

How your photo is processed

When you choose a photo, we send a resized copy and your instructions to OpenAI for image generation and requested analysis. Product research can send descriptive product searches to search and retailer services. Photos may reveal details of your home, so avoid people, addresses, personal papers and anything you do not want processed. AI providers have their own processing and retention practices; we do not promise zero provider retention. OpenAI API data information.

Voice entry is optional. Your browser may use its speech provider to convert speech to text. VaLeu Home does not record or store the audio; it receives the resulting text.

Accounts, email and payments

Account emails support sign-in, welcome messages, verification, recovery and service communications. Optional marketing permission is separate, off by default and changeable in your account. Account creation does not enroll you in campaigns. Email delivery is not connected in this beta; messages are queued privately.

Stripe hosts payment entry. We store transaction references and credit or subscription status, not your full card number or card security code. Test-mode payments do not charge a real card. Our email provider, when enabled, receives the address and message needed to deliver account email.

Your photos are private unless you share

Private photos are stored outside the publicly served website and checked against your session or account. The gallery on our landing page uses illustrative concepts, not private customer work. Sharing is your choice: publishing a share link makes the chosen generated design public to anyone with the link. Your original, email and project report are excluded. You can disable a share link in your account, but we cannot remove copies others have already saved or reposted.

Deletion and retention

Use “Delete these photos” beside a design to remove its original, makeover, blurred preview, report and cached shopping results, and disable its share links. Financial, credit and AI request audit records may remain for billing, security and dispute handling. For account access, export or deletion requests, use Support. A production retention schedule and backup deletion process must be finalized before launch; no automatic photo-deletion deadline is currently promised.

Security and choices

Passwords are hashed and provider keys stay on the server. This hosted beta uses HTTPS and server-side private storage. Use a unique password. Storage, backup and recovery procedures remain under evaluation during this limited beta. No system is perfectly secure. We do not currently use advertising pixels or run marketing campaigns. Any future advertising or affiliate tracking needs appropriate disclosure and choices before activation.

Hosting

Render hosts the application and private account and image storage. Visitors can enter an email to start one free preview. Saving an account requires a password. Entering an email alone never grants access to an existing account. Account email delivery is not yet connected; contact support directly for account help.

Questions

Use our support form for privacy questions, correction or deletion requests. The beta records requests privately; it does not yet send an email response. Applicable privacy rights depend on where you live and the final business operation.

Email previews

When you enter your email for a free preview, we store it with your private browser session and your optional marketing preference. Entering an email does not verify ownership of the address or let anyone retrieve another person’s photos. One free preview is available per email, with connection limits to protect the service. Add a password to create a saved account. Marketing permission is optional and separate; we do not add you to promotional campaigns merely because you tried a makeover. Contact support to request deletion of your preview email and photos.
